OER Commons provides a single point of access from which users can search, browse, and evaluate resources in OER Commons growing collection of over 50,000 high-quality OER. They include game-based learning objects, videos, full courses, and adult education materials. Some of the disciplines covered are communication, history, career training, anthropology, and economics.

The site is a comprehensive infrastructure that allows site visitors to identify high-quality OER and collaborate around their adaptation, evaluation, and use to address the needs of teachers and learners.

OER Commons is one of the best resources for open content. It is indexed and searchable (by topic, by resource type, by academic level, and by standard) and the content is reliably open (and vetted).
