#EmTechMOOC includes modules on Lifelong Learning as well as the 4Cs of 21st-Century Skills: communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking. Artifacts created through hands-on Discovery Exercises can be shared and used to create an ePortfolio or a private learning journal to reflect on the learning journey. Coursera certificates of completion and SUNY digital badges are also awarded. Enroll in #EmTechMOOC in Coursera.
EmTechWIKI is a socially-curated search engine for discovering free tools, tutorials, and resources such as audio, video, blogs, wikis, presentations, simulations, and more. The WIKI can be used as a stand-alone resource and it can be used together with #EmTechMOOC. Everyone is welcome to add and edit WIKI resources.
EmTech has been developed through a collaboration among students, faculty, and staff from many campuses throughout the State University of New York (SUNY), the largest comprehensive university system in the United States.
Funding has been provided through a SUNY Innovative Instruction Technology Grant (IITG), a University at Buffalo Professional Pathways Grant, and a National Education Association (NEA) – Learning and Leadership Grant.
